Gentle, Personalized, Care.
Drs. Agatep and Erfani place special emphasis in providing gentle, personalized care for your complete dental needs. We offer a full range of techniques for yout total comfort during office visits. If you are the least bit anxious about dental visits, this is the office for you!
We offer mild analgesics prior to treatments, such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen. Our office also makes nitrous oxide and other medications (such as Valium) available to ease the “butterflies”. We use the “Wand”, which is a virtually painless state of the art injection technique.
Our rooms are equipped with DVD players. We have films available, or you can bring your own. We also have “movie glasses” which bring the movie up close and helps to block out your surroundings.
We offer music headsets for your entertainment during your treatment visits. You can listen to our CD/s or bring your own.
Our patient chairs offer heat and massage for your relaxation, and to make you more comfortable.

Dr. Kathrina Agatep has relentlessly pursued the art of Cosmetic Dentistry since graduating from New York University– subsequently pursuing interrelated continuing education courses focused on the advanced principles of aesthetic dentistry. She has had the great fortune of training with some of the best in the field, including Dr. Shervin Erfani, one of the foremost authorities on Neuromuscular dentistry.
Using the latest materials and principles in the dental field, she has provided numerous smile makeovers from Playboy models and aspiring pop singers to sales executives and housewives. Her smile creation has recently been featured on the front cover of Practical Aesthics (Jan, 2005) and is now being used as the advertising medium for Frontier Labs – one of the premier cosmetic labs in the nation
Dr. Agatep is a graduate from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies, and has studied with some of the world's top aesthetic dentists. Her resulting areas of expertise include: (1) advanced anterior aesthetics, (2) advanced posterior aesthetics, (3) comprehensive aesthetic reconstruction, and (4) neuromuscular occlusion. She is among the top 1% of dentists nationwide to have undergone this extensive training in cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. LVI is a unique, hands-on, advanced training center for dentists worldwide that wish to develop a critical eye for excellence and offer amazing cosmetic and rehabilitative services to their patients.

Tina Compton : Dental Concierge
Tina might be the newest team member at Dental Design Spa, but she is no
stranger to the field of dentistry! Originally from Victorville, CA,
Tina has been in the dental field for 10+ years. Graduated from UCSD
with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology, her
attention to detail and altruistic nature with our guests help them
understand their treatment and options. Her support and tenderness have
created a sense of appreciation from all of us.
Tina is married to Brian and has 3 beautiful girls: Claudia (4 1/2),
Sophia ( 2 1/2) and Olivia (1).
In addition to the countless hours of training she has taken in all

Jennifer Kraber, RDH
Dental Hygiene
Jennifer graduated from Southwestern College, one of the top dental hygiene programs in the nation, with a passion for her patients' and their health and well being. She strives to provide outstanding individualized care by incorporating prevention, therapeutics, and education for each person.
Jennifer is very knowledgeable and understands the “big picture”, which helps her address not only the dental hygiene situation, but all of the patients’ goals with very thorough attention to detail and great follow-through. Patients describe Jennifer as sincere, caring, very thorough attention to detail and great follow-through.
As a native San Diegan, Jennifer grew up in La Mesa and is now happily married with two dogs. Although she loves relaxing at home, she enjoys many of her weekends camping in the desert or at the beaches. |
| Lindsey Grande: Treatment Coordinator
A local “Sandiegan,” Lindsey joined our team in 2004. Her caring style and sense of humor can improve your dental experience immeasurably. Lindsey has a particular interest in cosmetic and full mouth reconstruction because she enjoys seeing the transformation and loves being a part of the uplifting experience. She loves to help her patients, which includes providing education and answering questions. Her caring style and sense of humor improve the dental experience immeasurably.
